So ask, “What do I need to know about UCLA basketball?” The answer is right here in front of you (yes it is). The widely known UCLA Bruins are an NCAA Division 1 basketball team. This tried and true team has DOMINATED for the last 89 years or so. I mean, 11 NCAA tournament titles, that’s pretty amazing. Regardless, this article will discuss UCLA basketball.

Please note that this information was based on men’s basketball as of 2008.

The Bruins, established in 1919, have many titles. UCLA basketball prides itself on its 11 NCAA tournament titles (as stated in paragraph one), which is a record. They also have 26 Final Four wins to their credit. The team’s winning percentage is .709. Man, this team IS division-1. Next, I will see general information.

The Bruin’s stadium, the field, whatever you want to call it, is the Pauley Pavilion. Although (the basketball court) sounds weak in my opinion, this team really dominates. The UCLA Bruins are in the Pacific-10 conference. The team colors are true blue and gold. The coach, as of 2008, is/was Ben Howland. UCLA basketball has produced many professional NBA athletes, including Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Oh, and also UCLA basketball is played in Los Angeles, California, unless it’s a road game.
