Windows Mobile Tower Defense – A Very Exciting Review Of An Amazing Strategy Game

When you start the game, enemies gradually start walking from one side of the map to the other trying to get to your base. Your building is damaged every time an enemy enters it. When 20 enemies land on your base, you have lost the battle and failed to have a supreme commander of your base defense. As said, you need to place different types of towers on the playing field to make sure they don’t get to your base. In the case of this new Tower Defense game for Windows Mobile from Color Stone Ltd, you have a total of 6 different towers that you can plant to defend your base. All towers have different skins and deal a different type of damage to incoming enemies. It’s not really clear what kind of damage the towers do though, so when you start playing you have to mix it up a bit and see what works best. It’s a shame because it can be quite tedious to find the right combination. .

As you kill enemies with your combination of towers you earn more money, with this cash you can buy new towers or upgrade exciting ones. The towers can be upgraded a total of 2 times and when you do they get slightly badder graphics, think bigger guns, more guns, bigger flamethrower and stuff.

The game features 2 levels that you can play and both of them bring different types of strategy to this Windows mobile game. The game has 3 difficulties easy, normal and hard, the suggested difficulty is easy unless you are a tower defense veteran. In the options menu you can select music/sound effects and there is the possibility to see your high score. There is no real save option for this Windows Mobile game, but you can quit and resume your game later. If you decide to start a new game, you cannot resume the game you played before.

This tower defense game is one of the best you can find to play on WVGA Windows Mobile devices. If you have always enjoyed tower defense games then you should definitely get this as it is the best tower defense game you can get for your phone. There are little things that are not perfect in this game, like missing save option and unclear tower functions. However, these little things don’t depress the game that much and the game would get at least an 8 out of 10.
